Prof. Dr. Ayub Ahmad Khan
who is the Head of department of Otorhinolaryngology has multidimensional work experience and brings with him vast clinical and academic experience of 37 years. He his renowned Otorhinolaryngologist of Lahore who has treated innumerable patients in his career and done more than 15,000 major surgeries, minor surgeries 60000 of Otorhinolaryngology. His academic career includes working in Fatima Memorial, Allama Iqbal, University of Lahore, Avicenna and CMH Lahore Medical Colleges where he has taught Otorhinolaryngology to thousands of medical students. He is also involved in training of post graduate trainees of Otorhinolaryngology for which he is an approved Supervisor. He is a qualified Medical Educationist with Masters in Health Professional Education from College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is a University of Health Science Lahore certified Faculty Master Trainer and lead faculty for supervisor workshops. His research interests include Otorhinolaryngology and Medical Education in which he got numerous publications.

- I am part of the team responsible for introduction cochlear implantation in Pakistan for the

International Achievements
(1) I successfully completed basic course in diving medicine at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in January 1996 under the supervisor ship of Professor D.F.Gorman, Head of Hyperbaric Medicine Unit.
(2) I was offered a position in PhD program of University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom under able supervisor ship of Professor Janet A. Wilson in October 2007 on the research topic of ‘prospective assessment of gastro pharyngeal reflux during radiation’ after approval of research proposal.
(3) I was awarded BACO Fellowship to attend the 13th British Academic Conference in Otolaryngology at Liverpool, United Kingdom from 8th to 10th July 2009Society of Otorhinolaryngology
(4) Presented research paper on the topic ‘The frame factors influencing the implementation of integrated curriculum in Public sector medical college from faculty’s perspective’ at 2nd International CCME conference held at UHS Lahore from 29 October to 31 October 2015 and got standing applause form Prof Janet Grant of WFME and FAIMER fame.

(6) I had the honor to be one of the few Pakistanis to have been part of ‘visiting physicians’ program at House Ear Institute’, Los Angeles, USA in 2016 which is the center par excellence in the world for ear diseases. I am among few Pakistanis to have attended the ‘annual meeting of American Association of Head and Neck Surgeons’ in San Diego, USA from 18th September to 21 September, 2016.
